Hello, and thank you for being here.

I’m Anita Adams—founder of Joyful Journey Coaching & Retreats, creator of The Wisdom Way Method, award-winning leader, bestselling author, and host of the Joyful Journey Podcast.

For many years, I appeared to be exactly where I was meant to be. I was the founder and leader of a national nonprofit arts organization, a role I poured my heart into for 18 years. What began as a passion project eventually became an identity and responsibility that no longer felt aligned. Somewhere along the way, I lost touch with the joy and inner knowing that had guided me there in the first place.

My Story

That guidance led me onto a new path—one of greater alignment, presence, and purpose. It led me to write my award-winning book Whispers of the Soul, create The Wisdom Way Method, and begin guiding others on their own journeys inward.

The Wisdom Way Method is rooted in a simple belief: we each carry a deeper wisdom within us. When we look inward, listen deeply, and learn to Be the Love, we begin to live with greater clarity, authenticity, and joy.

Today, I share this work through retreats, coaching, speaking, my book, and the Joyful Journey Podcast—creating spaces for people to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and hear the whispers of their own soul.

Then the pandemic arrived. Like so many others, I found myself questioning what mattered most.

Who am I now?
What do I truly desire?
What is my soul asking of me?

The answers didn't come through striving or searching outside myself. They came through slowing down.

Through quiet walks in nature, I began to reconnect with something deeper—God, Spirit, the divine within. In those moments of stillness, I learned to listen. And as I listened, I began to trust the gentle guidance that had always been there.

When I’m not guiding others in nature or exploring the inner landscape of the soul, you’ll likely find me walking in the forest or off on an adventure—cycling, hiking, or kayaking with my husband and best friend, Tom.
